I do believe that Ben Alee has a green card from abroad to do whatever he wants as long as he metamorphoses Tunisia into a brand which goes with the west s aspirations. As long as Tunisia makes steps towards westernisation and advocates the wemens freedom plus prevents islamists from being in power,a deaf ear and a blind eye will be turned. However, the western implication doesn t distance the tunisian people from responsibility. It s up to the people to implement the Belguecem Chebbi s statement *Once the people has actually a will, the fate systematically is to reward*.Furthermore, democracy and freedom of speech have always been key stones in the western character. But,the supported *regime ami*doesn t share this common point. In a word,it s almost sure that Ben Alee will be in power in the aftermath of november 2009 elections. Therefore,it s up to tunisians not to rely on anybody to look more western -if they want to be- since the west advocates and hails individualism and not depending on others even though it sounds very idealistic.Just a breath of optimism for tunisians,it s getting more and more obvious that Ben Alee s end will look very similar to Bourguiba s one..And may be in a more caricaturic way even thou he never misses an occasion to surround himself with Hbib 3ammar s fellows who can do the same to him as they did to Bourguiba when they took control of the Carthage castle in the 6-7.11.87 night..
